Terms and Condition

Introduction
The general Terms and Conditions of Sale detailed below govern the contractual relationship between the ‘User’ (hereafter also referred to as ‘You’) and ‘Xeltix Limited’, company number 565745, VAT number IE3400309PH.


Article 1: Information That We Collect
1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made by “Xeltix.” No agreement can be created without your agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions are the only terms and conditions that are applicable and replace all other terms and conditions, except in the case of express, written, prior dispensation. By confirming your order, you acknowledge that you have read and unreservedly accept these terms and conditions.


Article 2: Our Contract
2.1 By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
2.2 When you submit an order, it represents an offer to purchase the products. This does not mean your order has been accepted.
2.3 All orders are subject to acceptance. If accepted, an order confirmation email will be sent, forming a contract. Items not confirmed in the order confirmation do not form part of the contract.
2.4 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order in cases of technical errors, lack of availability, indications of resale intent, or incorrect address information.
2.5 If an order is cancelled or not accepted after payment, a refund will be issued promptly.
2.6 Ownership of products passes to you upon full payment.


Article 3: Price and Payment
3.1 Prices are in euros, including VAT (where applicable) but excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs depend on the destination.
3.2 If an incorrect price appears on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the payment.
3.3 Accepted payment methods: PayPal and direct bank transfer.
3.4 We must receive full payment before dispatching products.

3.5 For large orders we reserve the right to require payment via bank draft instead of other payment methods. Due to excessively high transaction fees associated with certain regions and payment providers, we may cancel the order and request the customer to complete payment via bank draft before proceeding. This policy helps us manage processing costs, customers will be contacted promptly if this applies to their order.

3.6 For orders being shipped to high-risk countries such as Ukraine, Nigeria etc with elevated fraud concerns, we may require payment via bank draft to ensure transaction security and prevent chargeback fraud. This policy helps us ensuring secure transactions. Customers will be contacted promptly if this applies to their order.


Article 4: Delivery
4.1 Orders are delivered to the address provided at checkout. We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
4.2 While we strive to meet delivery times, delays caused by third parties or unforeseen events are beyond our control.
4.3 The risk of damage to products transfers to you upon delivery.
4.4 If an order is undeliverable due to incorrect addressing, you are responsible for additional costs.

4.5 Economy and Premium Shipping
We offer two shipping options for the straps: Economy and Premium.

  • Economy Shipping: Ships in a padded envelope and is uninsured. This is suitable for locations where mail delivery is reliable and there are no issues with receiving letters. However, since it is uninsured, we do not offer refunds if your item goes missing

  • Premium Shipping: Also shipped in a padded envelope, but includes tracking and insurance. If you live in an area with frequent mail theft, unreliable postal services, or delivery issues, we strongly recommend Premium Shipping to ensure your package arrives safely.


Article 5: Customs
5.1 Orders outside the EU may incur customs duties, taxes, or fees, which are your responsibility.
5.2 We do not refund customs duties or taxes for returned items.
5.3 You are responsible for ensuring compliance with import regulations in your country.


Article 6: Product Information
6.1 While we strive for accuracy in product descriptions and images, minor discrepancies may occur.
6.2 Colours may appear differently on screens than in reality.

6.3 Our strap length guidance is provided as a reference and is not an exact measurement. Strap lengths may vary by 1-2 mm shorter or longer on each side, and while they will fit your watch, we cannot guarantee that they will sit perfectly on your wrist. 

6.4 Spring Bars Disclaimer – The spring bars provided with your strap are included as a courtesy and carry no warranty regarding their compatibility with your specific watch. We strongly recommend using your own spring bars that are specifically designed for your watch to ensure a proper and secure fit.


Article 7: Made-to-Order Items

7.1 Certain non-stock items, such as custom leather straps, are made to order. Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped.

7.2 If an order is cancelled before shipping, a full refund will be issued.

7.3 Once an order has been shipped, it can only be returned for a refund if the package remains sealed and in its original packaging. Opened items are not eligible for return unless a manufacturing defect is present.


Article 8: Quality Assurance & Visual Inspection
8.1 Each strap undergoes a thorough visual inspection before shipping, including checks for:
✔ Correct dimensions
✔ Secure stitching
✔ Overall craftsmanship


Article 9: Arrival & Inspection

9.1 Your strap will arrive in sealed transparent packaging.

9.2 Before opening the package, please inspect the item carefully. If you wish to return it, the package must remain sealed and in its original condition.

9.3 If you decide to return the item, you may do so within 30 days of receiving it, provided it remains unopened and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

9.4 Once the package is opened, the item is no longer eligible for return unless a major manufacturing defect is present.


Article 10: Returns & Limitations

10.1 Handmade Uniqueness – Each strap is handmade, and minor imperfections may occur. These do not qualify as defects.

10.2 Inner Lining Variation – The inner lining of each strap may have natural variations due to the crafting process. These do not affect the functionality or durability of the strap and are not considered defects. As such, returns cannot be accepted for reasons related to the appearance of the inner lining.

10.3 Major Faults – A full refund or replacement will be provided only if the strap has a significant manufacturing defect.

10.4 We reserve the right to replace a faulty strap rather than issue a refund.

10.5 Returns for Unopened Items – Straps are delivered in a transparent plastic bag to allow for visual inspection before opening. Please inspect the item carefully for any major faults before breaking the seal. If you notice a significant defect, do not open the package. Instead, contact us and return the item in its original sealed condition within 30 days for a full refund or a replacement. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

10.6 Opened Items – Once the package has been opened, the strap cannot be returned unless a major defect is present.


Article 11: Transport Costs for Returns & Refunds

11.1 Defective or Faulty Products (Under Warranty) – If a product has a proven defect, we will provide a replacement or repair. However, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs,

11.2 Returns for Non-Defective Items – Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for personal returns. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

11.3 Incorrect or Damaged Items on Arrival – If an incorrect or damaged item was received due to our mistake, we will provide a full refund or replacement. However, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Proof may be required.

11.4 Returns for Unopened Items – If you wish to return an item within 30 days, it must be sealed and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping. Once received and verified, a full refund will be issued.

11.5 - Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is refused upon delivery or is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts (e.g., incorrect address, unpaid customs duties, or failure to collect), the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees incurred will be deducted from the refund. If the package is undeliverable due to customer error, we may offer the option to re-ship the order at the customer’s expense.

11.6 Returns Must Be Marked as "Return Goods"
When returning goods, customers must clearly label the package as "Return Goods" to avoid unnecessary customs duties or import taxes. We will not cover any additional customs charges incurred due to incorrect labelling. If a return results in import fees due to improper declaration, the amount will be deducted from the refund or charged to the customer before processing the return.


Article 12: General Indemnity
12.1 You agree to indemnify us fully against all claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of our website.


Article 13: Our Liability

13.1 Our products are supplied solely for private, non-commercial use. We are not liable for any business or commercial losses.

13.2 We are not responsible for damages resulting from the use of our products, except in cases of our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

13.3 If we are found liable, our liability is strictly limited to the purchase price paid for the product. Under no circumstances will the total refunded amount exceed the original purchase price paid by the customer, regardless of any additional costs incurred, such as return shipping fees.


Article 14: Privacy
14.1 We use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


Article 15: Waiver
15.1 Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term.


Article 16: Severability
16.1 If any term is deemed invalid, the rest of the terms remain in effect.


Article 17: Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
17.1 These terms are governed by Irish law.
17.2 Disputes shall be resolved in Irish courts.


 Article 18: Warranty

18.1 Watches are covered by a two-year basic warranty on the movement, starting from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects related to the movement. For all other issues (e.g., case, crystal, or straps), customers must report any manufacturing defects within 30 days of receiving the item. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, water exposure, or accidental impacts.

18.2 Leather straps come with a 30-day limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Customers must report any defects within 30 days of purchase for this warranty to apply. Additionally, as a testament to our craftsmanship, the glue securing the strap’s interior core is warranted for 6 months from the date of purchase. For minor glue issues, we expect customers to address them with a small application of contact glue. However, if the strap’s core detaches significantly, we’ll repair or replace it free of charge, provided it hasn’t been exposed to chemicals, excessive sweat, or other conditions that could cause the glue to dissolve. This does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, water exposure, improper use, or accidents.

18.3 Warranty claims must be submitted with proof of purchase within the 30-day period for leather strap defects (or within the 6-month period for glue-related issues), and we reserve the right to repair or replace defective products at our discretion.

18.4 For warranty-related issues:

    • 18.4.1 Warranty-related issues will be dealt with as promptly as possible.
    • 18.4.2 When a customer sends in a watch for inspection, they are responsible for the shipping costs to our facility.
    • 18.4.3 We will cover the return shipping cost back to you after the issue has been addressed.
    • 18.4.4 If the fault is determined not to be warranty-related, the customer may be charged a fee for repairs if the item can be fixed. In such cases, the customer will also be responsible for the return shipping costs.
